Soulmate Dolls:
These dolls are cut & sewn by an amazing group of Somalian women. These women and their families came to Minnesota from refugee camps in Africa. They have fought excruciating battles for themselves and their families. Each woman carries a courageous story with her!
Now in Minnesota, a new and completely foreign society, these women are learning job skills that will help their families again, to become survivors!
These beautiful women are proud to be a part of our "Warrior Doll" project. They are warriors providing comfort for women cancer warriors here; women who are also fighting arduous battles for themselves and their families. |
